Students securing 99 or 99.5 percentile fail to secure a seat in IIM Bangalore.The admission depends upon the past year records,the higher secondary and secondary marks,graduation marks of the candidate and also whether the candidate has relevant skills,has experiences of job,etc.Many students fail the GD and PI rounds resulting in failure of their selection.However students getting a perfect 100 percentile always secure the seats for admission.The competition is always at its top level when it comes to securing a seat in IIM Bangalore and also the other IIMs.

The eligigbility criteria stands something like this for IIM B-

Candidates must have 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in the bachelor's degree.

Candidates appearing for the final year bachleor's degree examination can also apply or or those who have completed bachelor's degree can also apply.

You should have more than 99 percentile to join IIIM Banglore. Even scoring 94 percentile also can get seat into some old IIIMs like  scoring as low as 94 percentile. For Banglore you should have greater than 99 percentile
