If you can get top IIM's or even IIM L or Kozikode then you are not "less" talented. You just have to maintain your cgpa and the exta curricular activities.

Placements in top IIM's doesn't depend upon only one aspects. In fact it covers all your previous records. I am not saying that only CGPA play  their parts but overall you willl be judged like, the Undergrad college, Performance in that course, any position of  responsibility in your under grad, Work experience(if any), field of your previous work.

It actually depends on the IIM in consideration. Because the best ones may offer around 2000000 and it still may be much more than what baby IIMs have to offer. For others it may be around 1000000 and for some it can even be upto 500000. It really depends on the IIM we are talking about
