For BDS admission through NEET:

General Category: Minimum 50th percentile (550-570 marks for govt. colleges).

OBC Category: Minimum 40th percentile (520-540 marks for govt. colleges).

SC/ST Category: Minimum 40th percentile (350-420 marks for govt. colleges).

Private Colleges: Usually require the 50th percentile but with lower marks than govt. colleges

Cutoffs vary yearly based on competition and seat availability.

Hello Pallavi ,

I hope you are fine. As per your mentioned query , i would like to tell you that candidate should have 50% in their class 12th for private colleges whereas for government dental colleges you have to appear in NEET entrance exam. And on the basis of NEET score you will get admission in government dental college.
