Dear aspirant,

It is not possible to predict the exact cut-off as it keeps changing every year based on the number of students attempting the exam, the difficulty level of the paper, the preferences o the students etc.

Looking at the previous year trends we can say that people have gotten admission into NIT with ST Category rank of around 2.3 K. This for least preferred NITs like NIT Sikkim, NIT Arunachal pradesh, NIT Uttrakhand etc.

For achieving a category rank of 2.3 K, you'll need to get 80+ percentile. With this percentile we can say that you are safe and have a decent chance of getting into NIT.

The percentile requirement varies from state to state, if Sikkim is your home state, you have a good chance of getting admission even if your category rank is 13 K which means a percentile of 50.

So, feel free to ask questions based on your home state as well.
