It all depends on son Your category and Home state. As in You Home state NIT you will be offered 50% reserved seats for the students of Your state. Rank also varies across the courses like CSE require good rank compared to Mechanical Engineering. If you are able to manage a rank below 15000 then You will be able to get good NIT with a decent course. Otherwise, You may be able to join NIT but that will be not of Your choice and It is not a wise decision to take a random course in Random NIT.

If you are able to score more than 180 marks in JEE Main then you will be definitely able to Get NIT. There are more than 25 NITs in the country and they differ in terms of their reputation and courses offered.
