You didn't mention your category. Assuming UR, i am giving you trends of previous years.

The seat through counselling process depends on many factors; the difficulty of exam, the number of students appeared and the seats available for that particular year.

Therefore, a linear graph could never be expected for the counselling. However, You need to get between 350 to 550 to get into A govt. college in Tamil Nadu through State Quota.

Some colleges also do admit at low scores which average upto 170 - 300.
