There is no criteria that you need specific marks to qualify the exam. However, if your score is low your rank will be affected.

If you score in between 90-114 then your expected rank will be 251 - 500

If you score in between 80 - 90 then your expected rank will be 501 - 2501

If you score in between 70 - 79 then your expected rank will be 5001 - 6500

If you score in between 60 - 69 then your expected rank will be 6501 - 8500

If you score in between 42-59 then your expected rank will be 8501 - 11k

If you score in between 31-41 then your expected rank will be 15,001 - 20k

If you score less than 31 then your expected rank will be 20k

So, from above you might get overall idea.

Qualifying marks -

Should have scored 60% and above in Maths/ Biology, Chemistry and Physics in their 10+2 respective exams.

Candidates from SC/ST Categories should have scored 50% in the above mentioned subjects.

Candidates from the North-East should also have 50% and above in all the subjects.

The students who have studied Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics are eligible to appear for the exam.
