The entrance exam is an online MCQ type test.
It roughly consists of 30-40 questions testing your basic problem solving skills. They mostly look like puzzles with a bit of logic and math.
The test also consists of a couple of questions testing your General Knowledge.
This test is randomly generated from a pool of questions. 

You can go through general knowledge books and prepare from cbse problem solving assesment papers

The lst date to apply was on February 20, 2019

while on 25 and 26th march the exam would be held.
