There is no penalty as such if you discontinue the course. But you may have to pay the entire course fee or course fee of that particular semester or no fee at all to get your original certificates that you have submitted at the time of joining/admission. It is subjected to the rules and regulations of the institute in which you have taken admission. If you discontinue the course your fee reimbursement claim will not be renewed ultimately you have to pay the tuition fee, if its demanded by the institute management when you discontinue the course. We would suggest you to enquire with the concerned authority regarding the guidelines for discontinuing the course.
