Aeronautical engineering is upcoming sector in India.  Compared to private sector,  public sector offer you better job opportunities.  Basically since aeronautical is highly  technical oriented job, job opportunities  fpe graduates depends mainly  on their knowledge and expertise.  For getting good  government jobs with package of around 50000 plus for freshers , one should have valid gate score.  Organisations such as DRDO, Hal have job opportunities available for Jrf position for students who have good knowledge and skills along with gate marks.
There are  plenty of job opportunities available but. It finally depends on knowledge of students.  Among the engineering colleges in India, there are only handful of students who get to graduate with proper knowledge. Rest opt for IT companies based on short term thinking without even striving for their field.
