Well, IIMs are brand, they conduct cat every year. Most of the students wants to get in IIMs only. You have to score 99+ percentile to get a call from top IIMs like IIM ahmedabad, banglore, calcutta, lucknow and 95+ for other IIMs. Good profile is another factor which really works in a favour of a student for getting a call from IIMs after scoring 99+ percentile.

The call from IIM depends upon many factors CAT percentile is one of the factor the other factors include class 10th percentage class 12th percentage, graduation percentage and also it depends upon your background of study if you are a commerce student or a science students.

Is per the previous years trends even I can get scoring 90 percentile and get call from IIM.
