Hii,

To get admission in an MCA course, you need to be a graduate. It can be from any stream like BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, etc. But some colleges want you to have studied Maths in 12th or during graduation, so that’s important to check before applying.

Now, admission can happen in two ways: with an entrance exam or directly based on your graduation marks. If you’re aiming for top colleges or government institutes, you’ll need to clear an entrance exam. The most popular one is NIMCET (for NITs). Others include CUET PG (for central universities like DU and BHU), TANCET (for Tamil Nadu colleges), and MAH MCA CET (for Maharashtra). Each state or college may have its own entrance exam.

If you don’t want to give an entrance exam, that’s okay too. Many private colleges give direct admission based on your graduation percentage. You just apply, submit your documents, and if you meet the cut-off, you can get in without any entrance.
