I assume that you meant to say station house officer. station house officer (SHO) is the officer in charge of a police station in India . The SHO holds the rank of inspector or sub-inspector. In India, the law permits a station house officer to conduct the investigation of crimes.General steps of becoming SHO

Hello, firstly after 12th complete bachelor's degree from any feild after your bachelor's you can apply as soon as notification for the post comes out.There will be written examination also you have to give physical as well as medical examination followed by training for certain period of time hope this helps you All the best !
