How to become police Inspector?? Difference between Daroga And Police inspector
Police Inspector or Circle Inspector is the promotional role. There is not any direct recruitment for this role. Candidates are selected for the role of Sub-Inspector through SSC examination.
The officer in charge of police station of a locality is known as Police Inspector.
The candidates must posses a bachelor's degree in any specialisation in order to appear in SSC (State Service Commission) examination.
The minimum age limit for appearing in SSC CGL examination is 18 years and maximum age limit is 32 years.

To become a police inspector you have to go through your high school , intermediate and graduation too. After graduation you need to clear CGL exam through which you will get a selection for SI post and further you get permotion based on your performance.
Now coming to your second question daroga is a lower rank post whereas inspector is a high rank post in police department.
