Established in 1952, Loyola College is an autonomous institution situated in the city of Chennai, India. Affiliated to the University of Madras, Loyola College ranks among the top five institutions in India for the degree programmes in the area of commerce, arts, natural sciences and social sciences provided by the college. Along with the general area of education like Arts, Science and Commerce, the college also provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Business, Vocation studies and Computer. All the courses under the stream of Arts, Science & Commerce are offered by the college in two shifts – Shift I (Aided) & Shift II (Self-Supporting).

Candidates are shortlisted to the UG programme on the basis of merit as well as interview conducted by the Loyola College. For candidates applying to PG programme, the college conducts an entrance test along with an interview round. Selected students will be intimated about the same via message to the registered SMS and email ID. The application status and list of shortlisted candidates will also be available on the online registration portal. 

Interested candidates should register through the online admission portal and fill the application form with all the relevant details. Completed applications along with the processing fee should be submitted in order to appear for the entrance test/ interview round. The cost of each application along with the processing fee is INR 150 for UG. In case of SC/ST candidates, the fee is INR 123 for UG.
