Hi soubhratra, In central-government funded higher education institutions, 22.5% of available seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students (7.5% for STs, 15% for SCs). Reservations are for the minority. Some of the reserved categories are:
1. Open
2. BC-A
3. BC-B
4. BC-C
5. BC-D
6. BC-E
7. SC
