The salary you may be come to know at the time you will give the interview of that respective college because in private engineering college the salary will be vary from proffesor to proffesor based upon their designation and qualifications. And coming to the another part of your question so in that the answer is yes they will treat the faculty well infact they have the bunch of good management as well. So overall don't bother more about that.
