At top IITs like Kanpur, Kharagpur, Bombay, Madras, Guwahati, the salaries are rangibg at an average of 6-9LPa with maximum salary numbers reported by Computer science, where few selected students end up woth Crore plus salary from silicon valley companies like Oracel, Microsoft, Uber, Google, Apple, Amazon.



The salary for Electrical and Mechanical is secind best at above colleges.





With respect to newwr IITs like Jammu, Nagpur, Hyderabad the salary on median basis is 5-7LPA.



So ghe number varies as per your capabilities and core competencies to achieve creme companies.



As pwr trends, top 10 percentile candidates are seen receiving salary more than 20LPA.

Branches like Aeronautical, Marine, Chemical, Biotechnology, Metallurgy dont see much uptick in 50+ LPA range as comppred to Computer scienece branch which is premium specialization.



The cutoffs too close down well under top100 AIR for Jee Advanced for Computer Science Engineering at top IITs.
