B.Arch is a very good course. It is of 5 years and after that you are supposed to work under some great architecture, which basically means that you'll be doing job. Your salary will totally depend on the college you are from. Some of the prestigious institutes for B. Arch are IIT roorkee, school of planning and architecture, chandigarh college of Architecture, Sir J.J. college of Architecture. If you do your B.arch from above mentioned colleges then your package will be around Rs. 6 lakh per year. If you do it from any other institute then it will be more than 2.5 lakh per year. 

Architectures have a bright future as initially they work under someone for some projects but after gaining some experience, individuals get opportunity to work on projects indepentaly and this brings increase in position and salary.
