A microbiologist can go in following fields-

• They can work in agricultural fields like microbiologist can work as environment and health specialist to plants and trees to protect them from several disease,pest control,nutrition and soil fertility.
• They can work in the field of medicine and health care to prevention of illness from Microbes.
• They can also work in the are of agrochemistry,biotechnology,biofinery,pollution control,food and pharmacy.

Hello dear student,

The scope of microbiology is general study of different microorganisms after obtaining bachelor's degree the student can specialise in different areas in their masters and so as in their PhD also in their post doctoral degrees. you can pursue BSc microbiology and after that you can pursue MSc microbiology and you  can be working in a hospital , or in a research lab as microbiologist.
