Dear,

A aircraft maintenance engineer (AME) performs mechanical work at the skilled craftsman level, assisting in the repair, maintenance, rebuilding, and servicing of aircraft. Regular duties for an aircraft maintenance engineer include carrying out daily aircraft maintenance and overhaul programs, checking the condition of various aircraft and engines, and completing repairs and replacements. An entry-level Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with less than 1 year experience can expect to earn an average total compensation (includes tips, bonus, and overtime pay) of 506,837. An early career Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with 1-4 years of experience earns an average total compensation of 505,069. A mid-career Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with 5-9 years of experience earns an average total compensation of 884,372. It depends on your experience.

Hope this helps!
