MEXT Scholarship stands for  Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Scholarship, it  is also known as Monbukagakusho. It's a scholarship provided each year to help foreign students enroll in Japanese universities for various study purpose, ug, pg research and so on. students need to choose a field of study to pursue the entrance test, i.e

“Field of Study (“Social Sciences and Humanities”

or “Natural Sciences”

In natural sciences domain there is three section, natural science A, natural science B, natural science C.

biotechnology comes under natural science A. Japanese diplomatic commission would conduct the first screening test, natural science A section consist of questions from:

Japanese, English, Mathematics(B), Chemistry, and Physics. after clearing the first session, you would be allowed for second session screening test. calculators or any other device would not allow at written exam.
