In 2020, IIT Kanpur will conduct the JAM Exam. It has made some changes in term of the number of subjects and test schedule of the exam.
This year, the exam will be organized in only six subjects.
Physics (PH)
Chemistry (CY)
Mathematics (MA)
Biotechnology (BT)
Mathematical Statistics (MS)
Geology (GG)
As per the official, Biological Science subject has been removed from the JAM test schedule.
So, candidates who want to apply for IIT JAM exam with Biological Science will find the path to get the admission in IITs, IISc through
IIT JAM Biotechnology
as because, both the subjects have most of the similarities in terms of syllabus and career scope.
Even aspirants have benefits if they choose the biotechnology because there are more seats available for this course in IITs as compared to Biological Science. So, this is a great opportunity to get the seat in IITs, IISc, NITs for MSc and other available courses.
