JEE Main and advanced have slightly different way of approach where Mians is more analytical, whike JEE advanced is more objective and requires speed and accuracy.

Students for 2018, need to pass JEE Mains and be amobgst top 2.24 lakh students irrespective of any quota to  be eligible for JEE Advanced and also the student should be born before October 1st, 1994 which is the most important elegible criteria.
