The fees exemption will only be for students in government colleges ,that might even exempt the total fees if your family income is less than 2 lkh per annum and you have applied via the TFW scheme stating you are under the EWS category.

For universities and affiliated private colleges the fees will be reduced only upto a small amount depending on the individual's economic status and might be under the control of the universities.

So,you have to visit the university to know the exact details , but upto 10% concession is surely availabe for the EWS class candidates.And  the actual fee itself is low enough (1.25 lkh) when compared to other universities.
