Hi Pradeep,

OBC non creamy layer certificate is valid for upto 3 years if you get it signed by district magistrate of your district .On the other hand the duration of validity varies from state to state.

So considering your question it doesn't matter whether the certificate is latest or 2 years old because all it needs to be valid as the maximum time limit is of 3 years .
