Hello,

I believe your query regarding two language paper is in reference to your previous query about UPSC exam, there are mainly two papers both of which are qualifying by nature, you need to secure 25% of the total 300 marks ,that is merely 75 marks and each paper is conducted for three hours

paper A is compulsory Indian Language paper which you can choose out of any of the Indian Languages included in the eight schedule of the constitution, though this paper isn't compulsory for candidates belonging to north eastern states  or having hearing impairment, the syllabus includes
Comprehension of given passages/Prcis Writing/Usage and Vocabulary/Short Essays/Translation from English to the Indian language and vice-versa

and then there is Paper B which is English, both the papers are based on matriculation level and it includes topics such as Comprehension of given passages/Prcis Writing
Usage and Vocabulary/Short Essays
