Top 20 percentile is calculated by taking FIVE subjects into consideration-

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Mathematics
• Any Language
• Any other subject like CSC or IP

The Total marks are calculated out of 500 marks which you obtain in the FIVE subjects mentioned above and a Top 20 percentile list is prepared by your respective board and sent to JoSSA.

Here is the Top 20 percentile cutoff for all the categories of Karnataka Board 2019-

1. General- 444 out of 500

2. OBC-NCL- 425 out of 500

3. SC- 400 out of 500

4. ST- 405 out of 500

5. PwD- 417 out of 500
