Hello!

In B.A.(Hons.), The student will be required to take some basic courses in semesters one and sixth at the Cluster Innovation Centre to gain competence in core areas such as "Art of Communication", "Innovation Management", "Cultural Diversity in India" and "Legal Literacy". In semesters two to five, students can choose courses from the large variety available in various colleges, under the guidance of a mentor at CIC. Students will be given the freedom to choose courses to specialize in a particular stream such as "Journalism", "Historical Tourism", "Counselling" and "Art and Design". This would equip them to choose appropriate professions for themselves.

Hello Mimansha,

B.A. Honours (Humanities & Social Sciences) offered by Cluster Innovation Centre allows students to draw expertise available in different colleges, unlike traditional courses. Students are to be given the freedom to choose courses to specialize in a particular stream such as

  • Journalism,
  • Historical Tourism,
  • Counseling and
  • Art and Design.

This would allow the students wide exposure to different choices and the freedom to choose appropriate professions for themselves as the course allows the students an opportunity to design their own degree. The total No. of Papers one will study in three years is 25 which will also include courses such as Ability/ Skill Enhancement Courses.

Hope this answers your query, feel free to ask for more info.
