Hello,
Both are the two different things.
But in my opinion, jee mains marks matters most when compared with board's percentage.Jee mains marks helps you to take admission in prestigious colleges like NITs,IIITs,BIT MESRA,...
But getting 75% in board exam is also mandatory to get admission in the above colleges.
So concentrate more on competitive exams and focus on it and try to get atleast 75% in 12th board exams.
Good luck.

Honestly saying!

Focus on the competitive exams, since all what matters, is your college degree. Trust me! A good college is what you need. You will open up there and will automatically find your interest! So, first priority should be competitive exams and second should be CBSE boards.

And don't mug up stuff for boards, just understand them! Because boards aren't worthy enough to mug up things for If you really wanna mug up stuff then do it for competitive exams as they will take you to your destiny.

And yes one last thing to add, all this doesn't mean that you become slack from the boards examination (although the CBSE boards checking is very shitty and it will always keep you in wonder that how come did this happen!). But still give your best and score decent marks in boards.

-cheers :)

The only answer I feel is Jee main, as it is the only way to some of the best nits and  iits ( after giving jee advance). But getting above 75% in board is also necessity for eligibility.
