This is a question that has confused a lot of students while filling their choices during josaa counseling.
There are a number of things that must be kept in mind.If you are really passionate about a certain branch then give priority to the branch over college.
But if you are a little uncertain about branch then you will have to weigh your options.
If you get a college which gives you the benefits of being close to home and the college being in a nice city then go for the college if it gives you a decent branch.
Also gather as much information as you can about various branches before you make your choice.
Look up the various opportunities that you can get in that branch.
