It solely depends on the path that you are interested in. CBSE has released a list of courses that can benefit students after 12th in various streams. This a list of almost 113 courses. This is a 122 page booklet and can be accessed at cbse.nic.in. This list also gives you the details of the Institutions where you can pursue these courses from. So based on their future and scope, you can pick up the course. Neverthless, to just point out a few, Engineering stands on top of the list. Then there are Architecture, Planning, Agricultural Sciences, B.Sc in Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/Geology/IT, etc, BCA, Law, etc.
