There are several ethnic groups and communities inside Maharashtra, which are reserved for reservation categories.

These groups include Schedule Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Tribal Communities, Other Backward classes, EWS categories, etc., but there is no such reservation specifically for Hilly areas.
