The eligibility criteria of JET 2019 is a set of parameters prescribed by the university which candidates have to fulfil mandatorily.
To be eligible for JET 2019, candidates need to have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from PUC or ISC/ CBSE. They need to have Physics and Mathematics as their compulsory subjects along with any one of the following as third subject - Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject in their 10+2.
Candidates must have secured at least 60% and above in the subjects taken together in PUC/ SYJC/ 12th or equivalent exam to be considered eligible for JET 2019.
For those belonging to SC or ST categories, they need to have secured minimum 55% and above in PUC/ SYJC/ 12th or equivalent exam to be eligible.
Candidates who are awaiting results of their 10+2 or equivalent exams can also apply for JET.
