BA or Bachelor of Arts is a 3-year under-graduate programme. The subjects may vary from institute to institute. Usually, candidates need to study around 5-6 subjects with around 3 electives and 2 compulsory subjects. The course is divided into 6 semesters. Some general subjects included in the course are Economics, English, Optional language (French, German, etc.), History, Literature, Philosophy, etc. To understand it better, BA course at IGNOU includes Hindi, English, Political Science, and History. Delhi University offers language specific BA programs.
