Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is conducted every year by IITs for admissions to M.Tech progrmas in various institutes like IITs, NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs and private institutes. PSUs also recruit through GATE exam.

As for your question, according to the recent trends, your rank should be about 450 - 550 according to your score.
