Hey aspirant, For you having a career in the field of biotechnology you must be having a science background in whatsoever filed like it can be in medical or non-medical.

So for medical your subjects should be 

1. Biology 

2. Physics

3. Chemistry

4. English

5. Physical education

And in non medical one extra subject would be maths

Biotechnology is combination of biology and technology as it is applied science.
Basic Eligibility for this course is :pass in class 12 with physics , chemistry, biology, English and mathematics . 
Biotechnology has genetic engineering so these are main subjects that you have to take up in class 12.
Also, you need to get good marks in biology and other subjects for good college .
