The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With a rank near to 20,000, it's difficult to get CSE seat in Vellore campus in any fee category. You can try applying for CSE seat at their Chennai campus in last two categories as the cut-off for CSE in 1st fee category at Chennai campus was 25,000 in the year 2016. You can easily secure other branches like EEE, Mechanical, etc at Chennai campus. Whereas, if you want a CSE seat only, then you can easily secure a seat in their Amravati (AP) and Bhopal campuses in first fee category itself as these are recently established.
