After 12th to become a cinematographer, a graduate degree in cinematography is needed from a college or university. You can also pursue a certificate course in this area to enhance your skills and knowledge in this field.  After completing this course you can go to any small or big production house and join as a cinematographer. A strong portfolio of experience is needed for you to be accepted as a qualified candidate.

The point to note is that cinematographers need an artistic vision and a good eyesight. You must have the ability to work independently, as well as have the interpersonal skills to work well with seniors amd lead people.

Good Luck.
