You shall be eligible to pursue these UG courses with a background of any subjects (Commerce, Science, Humanities) in 10+2.

They have full command over the camera and light crews working on a film, television production or other live action piece and is responsible for making artistic and technical decisions related to the image. A cinematographer training never ends, primarily because technology is constantly changing and new techniques, as well as equipment, are developed. So, whether you are just starting out as a camera operator, or have climbed the ladder to director of photography, you must keep up-to-date with new gadgets and tools, and be ready to use them on the set.
At the certificate level, learn accelerated programs and work in labs to became familiar with filmmaking techniques. You may learn camera lens and lighting techniques, how to use exposure meters, the role of a cinematographer, and gain an understanding of film stocks.
A bachelors of science in digital cinematography (the preferred degree ) or else any graduation will work. After that take some internship and a certificate course in it.

There is no such placement that you directly get into just after your completion of degree in cinematography. This works requires lot of experience and patience level.

In India, an assistant cinematographer who has just joined the industry is paid Rs. 84,000 – Rs. 96,000 per year. But as experience increases and reputation spreads, his/her salary can be between Rs. 480,000 and Rs. 600,000 a year.
Work in motion picture industry tends to pay more than the television industry.
A successful, award-winning cinematographer can earn up to 2-3 crores per feature film project!
You can start your career with gaining experiences, by working in short films and advertisements. This way you will land into big projects if gained experience and exposure in right direction.

Cinematography has really good scope when compared to other departments in the film making.Moreover, cinematography is not a job to talk about it in terms of scope for it, it is an art and you have to be ready to give up certain things in order to follow your dreams in the world of cinematography.When you think of income, it again depends on your own talent, you can earn from somewhere around 10 lakhs to 2 crores per movie.
