Both of them are completely different courses. But since you are confused between the courses I'll define them separately.

Multimedia: It is the field related to the control on the computer integration of texts. Multimedia technology applies to the interactive computer elements like texts, pictures, graphics, sound, animations, videos and is compiled into a one single form. If you have knowledge or training in website development software such as Adobe Creative Suite, which contains Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, Illustrator etc, you can use them to create user friendly interactive materials.

You can choose this course if you are interested in multimedia technology such as journalism, video production, multimedia desgining, computer animation etc.

Eligibility:

• Graduate from any stream can choose this course.
• For Degree -  Minimum education qualification
• For Diploma in animation - Plus two or its equivalent from any recognised institution.
