Hi Anush,

JEE-Advanced is an entrance examination which is held annually for admissions to Undergraduate programs in the IITs. However, it is not necessary to study in an IIT for a "bright future", you can make your own. There are many top colleges like the NITs, IIITs and GFITs that gave admissions based on JEE-Mains scores. Also, many top institutions like MIT, VIT, BITS etc. conduct their own entrance test. Even if you are not in a top-rated institute, you can still end up with a high-paying job. Yes, it will be slightly tougher but with determination and enough hard work, you can accomplish it.
