Hey Roshan! According to the Norms of National Testing Agency (NTA) if a candidate is appearing for improvement examination he will register himself as passed student on the basis of marks scored in the previous attempt or marksheet present with him to Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains. The improvement examination is to improve his or her marks on the marksheet but a passed candidate will register as passed only. Hope this may help you.
