Hello Adityaraj, hope you are doing well. With regards to your question I want to mention that a bitter truth in the present situation is that 90% jobs are in IT Sector and as time goes on the number of jobs in IT Sector will keep on increasing. So even if you study core branches from NITs and IITs it will be quite difficult for you to land up a job in core companies until and unless you are determined to go for core companies or some government or public sector companies. And even if you succeed to land up a job in core, the salary and workload would be not satisfying enough and as a result you will end up with a job in some IT company or consulting companies. And in these days branch doesn't matter. If you develop relevant knowledge and skills 80-85% of the IT companies will provide you with a job with attractive pay package. Now according to me I would recommend you to take up core branches at lower NITs rather than CSE at IIITs just because IIITs have a much much higher fees compared to NITs so it would become a problem for you and in IIITs you would not get the exposure to greater amount to companies compared to NITs as maximum IIITs provide B.Tech courses in CSE,,ECE and Electrical whereas NITs have branches ranging from CSE to Biotech. So the number of companies coming for placement will be much greater compared to IIITs and there you get the exposure to much greater number of companies. And further NITs provide tuition fees waiver to financially weak students as I am myself an NIT'ian hence  can provide you with much accurate information. Hope this helps.
