You have many Choices to choose once you complete your 12th. But what matters is what you want to be, what are your goals.

If you want to be a doctor, prepare for neet examination go for MBBS or any other  medical field you want

If you want to be a police officer, choose BA in your graduation which will help you to prepare for UPSC examinations.

If you want to enter business field, Choose BBA or B.com in you graduation and complete your MBA in related field

If you are from Science background there would be several options to do after 12th. As engineering becomes a common options now a days so rather than engineering there are several options like pharmacy agriculture etc. Now you should know your position of studying. If you can expect to crack Neet and get a seat in government college that's would be absolutely excellent decision. But rather than Medical and Engineering there are several fields that you can go for. So firstly mention your position and what are you expecting. Then it would be helpful to suggest you several career opportunities after 12th.
