To join NDA. One can choose any stream after 10th std. However it depends on which force you want to join.

For INDIAN NAVY & AIR FORCE. MPC in 12std is compulsory and For INDIAN ARMY any stream will work.

If you are science stream you can only join army wing through NDA. To join INA or AFA you must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics.

If you want to get into NDA then streams doesn't matter that much but in my opinion science would be very helpful if you want to get into NDA.

Although you can also choose other streams as well but you need to focus on the syllabus and previous years papers.
