Criminology is a subset of sociology (a core social science discipline) and it includes the scientific study of crime and criminal behavior, including its disclosure, causes, legal aspects, and control.

Here are the things which you should do to become a criminologist:

1. Pass Class 12th with a science or Arts background
2. Pursue a Bachelor's Degree-

• In Psychology/ Sociology/ Political Science/ Forensic Science : Another way  is to pursue graduation in psychology, sociology, political science or forensic sciences.
