Both the colleges are top colleges and the placements will also be good.It depends on two things,

1. If you give preference to branch then go for cse as it purely involves programming languages,coding
2. If you give prefernce to college, i suggest you to go for cbit as it stands first among other private engineering colleges.
3. Branch like ece deals with communication , control systems and things related to hardware and even some programming

The difference between cse and it is that there is difference only in 3 subjects, rest all the other course is the same.

When coming to placements, there are high chances of good placements in cse and it when compared to ece and even the salary package for cse and it will be good.If you maintain a cumulative gpa between 8.7 to 9.5 in all semester then you have high chances of getting a package greater than 7 lakhs to 12 lakhs per annum(or sometimes even more if you have good command)
