If you want to become software engineer, then you can pursue b.tech or BE in computer science and engineering or its equivalent. Focus on JEE Mains, so that you can secure admission in good colleges like NITs or IIT or GFTI. There are very few private college that provide good infrastructure for Computer Science Engineering. For better placement and deep knowledge, try to secure admission in NITs and IITs.
