After B.A Economics, a good option could be to study further in the same domain in areas such as econometric. This is something which is very very critical as far as the Indian economy goes. You could get into related careers like banking and insurance.

After BA Economics you have so many options. Many students go to study at the London school of Economics where they look at it as a stepping stone to a global career, be it with international monetary fund or the world bank.
So jobs after graduation are possible but a good career is guaranteed after you complete masters in the area of your choice.

What you should do after your BA Economics depends upon

• your interest
• what do you want to become in your life

For example,

If you are interested in teaching then after your graduation in Economics, you can go for B.Ed and after the completion of B.Ed will be eligible to teach in schools

If you want to study further then you can go for masters in Economics etc and later on you can even become a professor

If you want to get into management or business or HR jobs etc then you can even do MBA etc.


If you want to get a job in bank , you can start your preparation for banking exams like SBI PO etc

If you want to get into civil services like IAS etc then you can start preparing for UPSC examination after your graduation in chemistry.

If you don't want to study further then you can try for Jobs like Budget analyst, Manager-Economics Modelling with your degree in Economics
